Tenova LOI Thermprocess to supply three Decarburizing and Nitriding Lines (DCL®) for GO silicon steel to a leading steel producer in Southern China
Tenova LOI Thermprocess and Tenova Technologies (Tianjin) recently signed a contract for the supply of three Decarburizing and Nitriding Lines for grain oriented (GO) electromagnetic cold-rolled silicon steel with a leading steel producer in Southern China. Tenova LOI Thermprocess is one of the leading companies supplying industrial furnace systems for the heat treatment of metals and is part of Tenova, a provider of sustainable solutions for the green transition of the metals industry.
The scope of this important contract includes the design, supply and commissioning of three Decarburizing and Nitriding Lines (DCL®) for grain orientated silicon steel heat treatment furnaces that will be supplied by Tenova LOI Thermprocess and Tenova Technologies (Tianjin). The furnaces will enable the client to achieve stable mass production of high-grade GO silicon steel in the Phase II expansion of the project. This project represents LOI Thermprocess’s competitive flagship technologies that are the preferred production equipment for leading grain oriented silicon steel producers worldwide for many years and continues the series of successfully completed projects with the customer in different areas.
