Tenova LOI Thermprocess Donates 2,500 Euros to Duisburg Women’s Shelter

Tenova LOI Thermprocess has presented a donation of 2,500 euros to the Duisburg Women’s Shelter. Meike Schuster, director of the shelter, accepted the donation check end of June at the company’s offices in Duisburg’s Inner Harbor. The donation was presented by CFO Matthias Gogollok.

“Thank you so much for thinking of us,” said Meike Schuster. “The women’s shelter relies heavily on donations like yours to maintain both its operations and its educational programs.” The funds will be allocated to several projects at the women’s shelter. These include support for the children living there, workshops on healthy cooking and nutrition, and initiatives to accompany the women on their journey back to a self-determined life.

“We are pleased to be able to support your commitment and the valuable work you do for the affected women and children with this donation,” explained Matthias Gogollok during the presentation. “It is shocking for all of us to hear how severe the shortage of shelter spaces for those seeking protection in Germany remains and how little attention this issue receives in politics and society.”

This commitment aligns with the Tenova Group’s global initiative against violence against women. Every year on November 25—the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women—all Tenova locations worldwide call for solidarity. CEO Roberto Pancaldi emphasizes the company’s clear stance:
